Herman Deru Dorong Percepatan Penyelesaian Pembangunan JTTS

HALOPOS.ID|PALEMBANG – Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru semakin masif mendorong percepatan pembangunan Jalan Tol Trans Sumatera (JTTS) khususnya diwilayah Sumsel yang menghubungkan dengan sejumlah provinsi tetangga.

“Adanya jalan tol ini tentu merupakan suatu keberkahan bagi pulau Sumatera. Ini perhatian lebih dari pemerintah untuk wilayah Sumatera ini. Keberadaan tol ini, tentu akan membawa dampak pada perputaran ekonomi khususnya di Sumsel,” kata Herman Deru pada rapat koordinasi Regional II penguatan kontribusi daerah dalam penuntasan pembangunan JTTS di Ballroom Hotel Novotel Palembang, Kamis (9/6).

Menurut Herman Deru, penuntasan JTTS bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab pemerintah pusat, namun semua juga harus turut mendukung sehingga manfaat keberadaan jalan tol tersebut bisa segera dirasakan.

“Ada dua pemanfaatan dari jalan tol ini, yang pertama pengurangan jarak antar dua wilayah dan pengurangan waktu tempuh. Artinya, tol ini membawa efisiensi baik waktu maupun bahan bakar kendaraan,” ujarnya.

Kendati demikian, lanjutnya, bukan hanya percepatan pembangunan JTTS yang harus menjadi prioritas, tapi dampak lain yang ditimbulkan juga harus menjadi konsen.

Seperti dampak terhadap dua jalan yang sebelumnya telah ada yakni jalan lintas timur (Jalintim) dan jalan lintas tengah (Jalinteng).

“UMKM yang ada di Jalintim dan Jalinteng ini tentu harus difasilitasi sehingga bisa terus tumbuh. Termasuk juga mereka yang di luar UMKM tersebut. Keberadaan tol ini tentu harus berdampak pada peningkatan ekonomi,” terangnya.

Sebab itu, Herman Deru berharap agar pihak jalan tol juga memperbanyak interchange tol sehingga dan exit tol sehingga semua masyarakat diberbagai kawasan bisa merasakan manfaat dari tol tersebut.

“Saya akan mengajak Kabupaten dan kota di Sumsel bahkan Pemda di Provinsi tetangga untuk membantu dalam menyiapkan exit tol ini. Jangan membebankannya kepada investor. Kita yang ada di daerah ini juga harus aktif,” paparnya.

Diketahui, Herman Deru sendiri memang terus memantau progres pembangunan jalan tol di Sumsel. Salah satunya jalan ton yang menghubungkan Palembang dan Betung Kabupaten Banyuasin.

“Tol Palembang-Betung ini memang menjadi perhatian kita. Karena saat ini, semua kendaraan yang hendak ke arah Betung dengan melalui tol Palindra dan tol Lampung keluar di Palembang dan menyebabkan Palembang menjadi macet. Hal itu ditambah lagi oleh kendaraan dari Jalintim,” tuturnya.

“Oleh karena itu, kita harapkan tol Kapal Betung ini segera rampung sehingga bisa dimanfaatkan,” imbuhnya.

Sementara itu, Asisten Deputi Strategi dan Kebijakan Percepatan Investasi Kemenko Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi RI Feri Akbar mengatakan, pihak jalan tol sendiri tengah berupaya melakukan percepatan pembangunan tol Kapal Betung.
Hal itu dilakukan, agar Sumsel sebagai jantung ekonomi Sumbagsel bisa terhubung dengan sejumlah daerah lainnya.

“Sebelumnya, kita sudah menyambungkan ruas utama ekonomi di Sumsel dan Lampung. Dengan hidupnya jalur itu, tentu ekonomi di Sumbagsel akan meningkat,” katanya.

Saat ini, pembangunan tol yang juga menjadi prioritas pembangunan jalan tol di wilayah Jambi dan Bengkulu.

“Untuk Jambi baru akan dibangun jalan tol. Sementara Bengkulu sebagian sudah rampung tapi jalan tol Bengkulu belum bisa menyambung ke Sumsel. Kita berupaya agar segera terintegrasi sehingga ekonomi menjadi optimal,” pungkasnya. (ZR)
