PALEMBANG – Gubernur Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel)  H  Herman Deru menegaskan pihaknya akan terus berupaya menekan  penambahan jumlah pasien terpapar virus Covid-19. Selain itu Pemprov juga akan menambah jumlah Intensive Care Unit (ICU) disalah satu rumah sakit rujukan khusus Covid di wilayah Sumsel. 

“Kita dari Pemprov bersedia untuk backup pembangunan ICU untuk segera jadi, bila perlu refocusing dana yang ada. Dari Rumah Sakit yang ada di Palembang ini  mana yang di prioritaskan ICU-nya  harus ditambah,” ungkapnya saat menerima audiensi Perhimpunan Rumah Sakit Seluruh Indonesia (PERSI) Cabang Sumsel di ruang tamu Gubernur, Kamis  (5/8/2021) siang

Menurut Herman Deru, para pengurus PERSI Sumsel  kali ini sangat penting sebagai penambah referensi pemerintah dalam membuat kebijakan untuk mengatasi penyebaran virus Covid 19 khususnya di Provinsi Sumsel. Karena tenaga medis yang ada di rumah sakit merupakan benteng terakhir.

“Saya ucapkan terimakasih untuk para tenaga medis di Provinsi Sumsel yang telah berkerja keras mengorbankan jiwa dan raga guna menekan lajunya penyebaran  Covid 19,” imbuhnya.

Dalam prosesnya penambahan jumlah ruangan ICU Rumah Sakit, Herman Deru mengharapkan  OPD terkait  untuk segera bekerja mengkaji lebih jauh terkait dengan  penambahan gedung  layanan kesehatan yang  harus  disesuaikan dengan jumlah tenaga kesehatan yang ada.

Dilain pihak Pengurus PERSI  Provinsi Sumsel dr. Bambang Eko Sunaryanto, SpKJ, MARS menuturkan, audiensinya kali ini  selain silaturahmi juga   menyampaikan sejumlah hasil  pertemuan PERSI  yang baru saja digelar secara daring belum lama ini.

Menurutnya salah satu upaya penanganan pasien Covid-19 yang dianggap mendesak yakni perlu dilakukan penambahan kelengkapan sarana prasarana kesehatan khususnya di RS rujukan Covid-19.

“Mulai dari penambahan  obat-obatan, penambahan kapasitas ICU dan terpenuhinya kebutuhan oksigen pasien,” jelasnya

Nampak hadir dalam audiensi kali ini Wakil Ketua PERSI Cabang Provinsi Sumsel Drg. Duror En Nasik, Sekretaris PERSI Dr.Hj. Makiani, S.H.,M.M.,Mars, anggota PERSI Prof. DR. Dr. Yuwono M Biomed.
