Selama PPKM, Penumpang LRT Turun

PALEMBANG – Selama Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) di Palembang, jumlah penumpang Light Rail Transit (LRT) di Palembang menurun hingga 33 persen. Hal itu dikatakan oleh Manager Humas KAI Divre III Palembang, Aida Suryanti, Senin (30/8/2021). 

“Sejak PPKM menurun menjadi 3.300 penumpang per hari, dan sejak Juni sebelum PPKM dilakukan, okupansi penumpang dalam rata-rata harian mencapai 5.300 orang per hari,” katanya.

Ditambahkan Aida, Penurunan jumlah penumpang lantaran berkurangnya aktivitas masyarakat di luar rumah selama PPKM Level 4. Imbasnya orang-orang yang memilih naik LRT sebagai moda transportasi massal juga ikut terimbas.

“Hal ini disebabkan karena masyarakat mematuhi kebijakan pemerintah dalam pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19 yang membatasi mobilitas dalam masa PPKM. Sehingga masyarakat mengurangi aktivitas keseharian baik itu kegiatan pendidikan, perkantoran, maupun aktivitas ekonomi,” jelasnya.

Meski mengalami penurunan, Aida menjelaskan, LRT tetap beroperasi seperti biasa, yakni sebanyak 88 perjalanan setiap hari selama pelaksanaan masa PPKM Level 4. Bahkan untuk keberangkatan pertama dimulai sejak pukul 06.00 WIB pagi sampai 20.25 WIB malam.

“Untuk keberangkatan LRT terakhir pukul 18.43 WIB dari stasiun DJKA dan 19.37 WIB dari stasiun bandara,” ujarnya.

Pihaknya tetap berkomitmen jika pelayanan LRT mematuhi pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan, baik untuk penumpang maupun petugas di lapangan selama di stasiun maupun di dalam LRT. Pihaknya tetap mengikuti aturan pemerintah dalam penerapan 3M, baik selama di stasiun atau perjalanan.

“Selain itu, setiap stasiun disediakan tempat cuci tangan. Petugas memeriksa suhu tubuh penumpang sebelum masuk, menyediakan hand sanitizer di dalam LRT dan penyemprotan rutin desinfektan untuk kereta maupun di stasiun,” terangnya.(RZ)
