PALEMBANG – Pandemi Covid-19 meningkat tajam. Kondisi ini menuntut kesadaran masyarakat untuk tetap di rumah guna meminimalisasi potensi penularan.
Menteri Agama Yaqut Cholil Qoumas meminta umat beragama untuk sementara menjalankan aktivitasnya di rumah, termasuk dalam menjalankan ibadah. Rumah ibadah pada zona PPKM Darurat serta Zona Merah dan Oranye di luar PPKM Darurat ditutup sementara dan kegiatannya yang berpotensi menimbulkan kerumunan ditiadakan.
“Angka kasus harian positif Covid-19 masih terus meningkat. Untuk sementara, mari kurangi mobilitas, bersabar tetap di rumah. Untuk sementara kita laksanakan ibadah di rumah,” pinta Menag di Jakarta, Jumat (9/7/2021).
Menag mengatakan, rumah ibadah pada zona PPKM Darurat, serta Zona Merah dan Oranye di luar PPKM Darurat agar ditutup sementara. Kegiatan peribadatan di rumah ibadah yang berada di Zona PPKM Darurat, serta Zona Merah dan Oranye di luar PPKM Darurat yang berpotensi menimbulkan kerumunan juga sementara ditiadakan.
“Untuk umat Islam, selama pemberlakuan PPKM Darurat, pengurus masjid atau musalla yang berada di Zona PPKM Darurat, serta Zona Merah dan Oranye di luar PPKM, tetap dapat mengumandangkan azan sebagai penanda waktu masuk salat. Hal yang sama bisa dilakukan pengurus rumah ibadah lainnya,” ujar Gus Yaqut, sapaan akrab Menag.
“Hanya, aktivitas peribadatan masyarakat di Zona PPKM Darurat, serta Zona Merah dan Oranye di luar PPKM Darurat tetap dijalankan di rumah masing-masing,” lanjutnya.
“Mari bekerja dari rumah dan beribadah dari rumah. Membatasi mobilitas keluar rumah menjadi bagian ikhtiar bersama memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19,” tegasnya lagi.
Pemerintah sejak 3 sampai 20 Juli 2021 menerapkan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) Darurat. Menag mengajak masyarakat memanfaatkan momentum PPKM Darurat ini untuk memperkuat religiusitas dengan beribadah bersama keluarga inti di rumah.
“Mari jadikan rumah-rumah kita sebagai surga, tempat yang nyaman untuk berbagi rasa sekaligus menjadi media pendidikan jiwa yang efektif untuk generasi yang berkualitas dan berkarakter,” ujarnya.
“Mari, dari rumah masing-masing, kita berdoa dan memohon kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dengan sepenuh hati, semoga pandemi ini segera berakhir dan kehidupan kembali berjalan normal. Amin,” harapnya.
