PALEMBANG – Sepanjang jalan Ki Merogan Kecamatan Kertapati, Palembang Sumatera Selatan mendadak macet panjang, hal itu lantaran efek dari di tutupnya jembatan Ogan III yang berada di Kawasan Jalan Lingkar Selatan Palembang – Kayuagung, Kecamatan Pegayut Kabupaten Ogan Ilir yang dimulai hari ini.
Pantauan di lapangan, Sabtu (17/7/2021). Sepanjang Jalan Ki Merogan dari arah Flyover Musi II ke arah Simpang Sungki macet panjang. Kendaraan dari arah Tol Palindra beralih ke arah Jalan Ki Merogan, akibatnya kendaraan menumpuk.
Evan salah satu pengendara mengatakan, Jalan Ki Merogan Macet di mulai sejak pagi hari, bahkan dirinya harus memutar balik kendaraannya akibat terjebak macet panjang.
“Mulai pagi ini jalan Ki Merogan macet pak, biar lebih cepat saya terpaksa putar balik,” katanya.
Sebelumnya, Balai Besar Pelaksana Jalan Nasional (BBPJN) Wilayah Sumatera Selatan, memulai rehabilitasi atau perbaikan Jembatan Ogan 3. Nantinya, selama perbaikan operasional jembatan akan ditutup.
Kepala BBPJN Wilayah Sumsel, Kiagus Syaiful Anwar, mengatakan, jembatan yang berada di Jalan Lingkar Selatan Palembang-Kayuagung, Kecamatan Pegayut, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Sumsel, rencananya akan mulai ditutup pada Sabtu besok (17/7/2021).
Jembatan ini sudah berusia 24 tahun dan di lokasi tersebut belum ada duplikasi. Jembatan ini di bangun 1997, selama ini jembatan dilakukan pemeliharaan berkala dan pemeliharaan rutin.
“Pengerjaan sekitar tiga bulan sesuai kontraknya. Jadi selama pengerjaan, jembatan kita tutup sementara,” kata dia.
Untuk perbaikan jembatan sepanjang 280 meter dianggarkan sebesar Rp3 miliar dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN).
“Lantai jembatan ini akan dibongkar semua dan diganti baru. Berdasarkan perkiraan, jembatan Ogan 3 ini bisa berusia hingga 50 tahun. Karenanya kita perbaiki agar pengendara nyaman,” jelasnya.
Selama penutupan Jembatan Ogan 3, lanjut Syaiful, pihaknya telah menyiapkan jalan alternatif yakni gguna jalan yang datang dari exit Tol Palindra akan menuju Jakabaring dapat menggunakan Jalan Ki Merogan atau melalui Jembatan Musi 2.
“Begitupun sebaliknya, masyarakat yang datang dari arah Jakabaring dan mau menuju ke arah Tol Palindra dapat menggunakan Jalan Ki Merogan atau masuk kedalam kota melalui Jembatan Musi 2,” ungkapnya.
