HALOPOS.ID|PALEMBANG – Gubernur Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) H. Herman Deru meninjau progres pembangunan gedung kuliah Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya (Unsri)  yang terletak di lingkungan RSUD Siti Fatimah Az-zahra Kamis (15/9).

Gedung Fakultas Kedokteran Unsri diyakini oleh Herman Deru akan menjadi Pusat Pendidikan Kedokteran dan Kesehatan  Terbaik  Di Indonesia.  Sebab lanjut dia hadirnya gedung fakultas kedokteran Unsri yang persis terletak  bersebelahan langsung dengan RSUD Siti Fatimah, yang notabenenya telah   direkomendasikan Konsil  Kedokteran Indonesia (KKI)  sebagai rumah sakit pendidikan.

“Keberadaan   gedung fakultas kedokteran di lingkungan RSUD Siti Fatimah ini akan memperkuat sinergi  antara Pempro Sumsel dengan lembaga kesehatan dalam mempercepat terwujudnya helath tourism di Sumsel,” tegas Herman Deru.

Dikatakan, sinergitas tersebut dibuktikan dengan dihibahkannya lahan seluas   1,7 hektar untuk dibangunkan gedung fakultas kedokteran Unsri yang nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana belajar  yang dilengkapi dengan   peralatan   canggih.  Hal tersebut lanjut Herman Deru sebagai wujud dari upaya  merevitalisasi  sarana kesehatan mulai dari  Puskesmas hingga RS     untuk pelayan terbaik bagi masyarakat.

“Pembangunan tidak saja hannya pada bangunan fisik belaka namun juga desentralisasi pelayanan. Pemda tidak bisa kerja sendiri  tanpa kerjasama khususnya dengan pihak Unsri.  Dalam melahirkan tenaga dokter yang mumpuni dalam pemenuhan layanan   kesehatan masyarakat,” tambahnya.

Peninjauan yang dilakukan lanjut Herman Deru merupakan bentuk keseriusan Pemprov Sumsel dalam mewujudkan Sumsel sebagai pusat pendidikan di Sumatera.

“Kita tinjau hari ini  sebagai wujud keseriusan.  Semoga  ini menjadikan Sumsel sebagai pusat pendidikan, minimal di Sumatera kita jadi trend setter,” pungkasnya.

Sementara Rektor Universitas Sriwijaya (Unsri), Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Anis Saggaff, MSCE menuturkan, Gedung Kuliah Fakultas Kedokteran berada di lahan 1,7 hektar hasil dari hibah Pemprov Sumsel kepada Kemenristekdikti,  kemudian dari Kemenristekdikti diserahkan kepada Unsri.

“Gedung ini pembangunannya menggunakan anggaran PNBP dan efiseiensi disana-sini, pembangunan gedung ini dilaksanakan dalam waktu dua tahun, tahun pertama struktur gedung sampai bulan Desember 2022, dan bangunan di tahun 2023,” tambahnya.

Untuk diketahui, Gedung kuliah Fakultar Kedokteran Unsri akan dibangun 2 gedung dimana gedung utama rencananya akan dibangun 10 lantai dengan dana pembangunan dari kemenristekdikti. Sementara gedung kedua rencana dibangun 4 lantai termasuk basement dengan dana pembangunan dari Unsri yang ditargetkan akan rampung pada tahun 2023. (ZR).
