BKM Salurkan Bantuan Beras Untuk Masyarakat Musi Rawas di Palembang

PALEMBANG – Badan Komunikasi Masyarakat (BKM) Musi Rawas membagikan bantuan beras dari Kapolda Sumsel, Irjen Pol Prof Eko Indra Heri kepada masyarakat Musi Rawas di Palembang yang terdampak Pandemi Covid-19. 

Ketua BKM Mura, Rety Septika mengatakan, penyerahan bantuan beras dari Kapolda Sumsel ini dilakukan secara protokol kesehatan (Prokes), yakni secara simbolis kepada 30 orang warga yang tergabung dalam BKM Musi Rawas di Palembang yang terdampak Pandemi Covid-19. Hal itu untuk mencegah terjadinya kerumunan massa.

“Penyerahan bantuan sembako berupa beras dari kapolda Sumsel kepada warga ini secara simbolis kepada 30 orang warga, dan selebihnya akan di sebar secara door to door oleh tim BKM Musi Rawas dibeberapa tempat lainnya,” kata Rety saat usai pembagian beras, Selasa (31/8/2021).

Dijelaskan Rety, bantuan untuk masyarakat Musi Rawas tersebut sebanyak 1 ton, yang masing-masing per karungnya seberat 5kg. Artinya sebanyak 200 sak beras yang akan dibagikan untuk warga Musi Rawas di kota Palembang.

“Sekarang secara simbolis diserahkan kepada warga yang berada di bukit baru. Untuk jumlah total warga Musi rawas di kota palembang belum valid, namun ribuan. Itupun ada yang sudah masuk dalam komunitas dan belum terdata dalam komunitas,” jelasnya.

Lebih lanjut dirinya mengaku, akan mengadakan bantuan beras secara berkelanjutan, tapi untuk saat ini BKM hanya masih membantu pendistribusian saja. “Tapi tidak menutup kemungkinan yang kita lakukan sebelumnya membantu swasembada dari keluarga yang mampu membantu kepada warga yang tidak mampu dari anggota kita sendiri. Tapi sekarang ini kita bantu mendistribusikan saja,” ungkap dia.

Sebagai Ketua, ia sangat berterima kasih kepada Kapolda Sumsel, karena menurutnya bantuan beras ini sangat bermanfaat dan berguna sekali bagi warga Musi Rawas yang terdampak Pandemi Covid-19 di Palembang.

“Di masa pandemi ini banyak masyarakat yang terdampak dari berbagai sektor, baik itu pedagang, petani atau karyawan. Harapannya ke depan agar ada bantuan-bantuan lain, dan semoga merata dan tetap sasaran,” bebernya.

Kapolda Sumsel yang diwakili oleh Dansat Brimob Polda Sumsel, Kombes Pol Yudo Nugroho Sugianto menjelaskan, selain menerapkan Prokes, dalam pembagian beras tersebut di atur secara bergilir, yakni pernah lima orang, hal itu untuk mencegah kerumunan massa.

“Polda Sumsel terus berupaya dalam penyaluran beras untuk masyarakat terdampak Covid -19. Selain itu mengajak komunitas untuk berpartisipasi dalam penyaluran beras dari Polda Sumsel untuk masyarakat,” jelasnya.

Susilawati, salah satu warga Musi Rawas di Palembang mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Polda Sumsel dan BKM Musi Rawas. Menurutnya bantuan beras yang telah diterimanya ini sangat membantu sekali bagi dirinya pribadi.

“Terima kasih banyak untuk BKM dan Polda Sumsel, semoga ada bantuan-bantuan lain bagi kita, khususnya saya yang suami tidak kerja,” ungkapnya. (Rill)
