Ratusan Pelajar dan Masyarakat Divaksin

PALEMBANG – Dalam mendukung pemerintah dalam program percepatan vaksin pelajar, SMPN 1 Palembang menggelar vaksin massal, yang diikuti sebanyak 900 pelajar dan sebagian masyarakat sekitar sekolah di halaman SMPN 1 Palembang, Senin (20/9/2021)

Kepala SMPN 1 Palembang, Hastia mengatakan pelaksanaan vaksinasi ini digelar atas kerjasama dengan Polda Sumsel, dengan menerapkan prokes yang ketat.

“Alhamdulilah berjalan lancar ada sebanyak 900an siswa yang mengikuti vaksinasi ini yang sudah memenuhi syarat usia 12 tahun plus 2 bulan,” ujarnya.

Kata dia, dalam pelaksanaan ada sebagian siswa yang sudah melakukan vaksinasi secara mandiri dan bagi yang belum difasilitasi di sekolah.

“Nah, karena kuota kita cukup banyak dari Polda dan yang ikut siswa ini gak sampai 900an maka sisanya kita juga ajak warga sekitar yang mengikuti vaksinasi ini,” ungkap dia.

Dengan adanya vaksinasi ini, lanjut dia artinya sudah hampir 100 persen siswa yang masuk umurnya telah divaksin. “Untuk guru juga sudah semua. Dan alhamdulilah dengan semua sudah vaksin setidaknya proses belajar mengajar kita yang saat ini tengah berlangsung di sekolah dapat berjalan dengan aman juga,” ungkap dia.

Namun, pihaknya pun juga tetap terus menghimbau walaupun sudah divaksin tetap menjalankan prokes yang ketat.

“Ya, memasuki pekan ketiga kita PTM terbatas juga sejauh ini berjalan dengan lancar, tak ada kendala. Dan siswa juga sudah terbiasa dengan protokol kesehatan selama belajar di sekolah ini,” tuturnya.

“Mulai dari masuk ke sekolah tak perlu diarahkan lagi siswa sudah paham untuk mencuci tangan, cek suhu dan tetap menjaga jarak selama PTM berlangsung,” tambahnya.

Sementara itu, Ketua Komite SMPN 1 Palembang, Ruslan mengatakan pihaknya sangat  senang dengan digelar vaksinasi ini.

“Setidaknya ini menjawab kegelisahan kami juga sebagai kepala sekolah. Dengan vaksinasi ini kita lega karena siswa mendapatkan juga kekebalan imun ini,” ujarnya.

Dikatakannya, Apalagi sekolah sudah tatap muka, siswa juga perlu vaksin bukan hanya guru saja. Jika guru dan siswa sama-sama sudah divaksin tentu ini akan menjadi  hal yang baik,apalagi untuk siswa ini sangat penting juga karena jika mereka pun juga rentan terkena saat ini. Meski sudah divaksin kita harus tetap melaksanakan dan menerapkan protokol kesehatan,”ucapnya. (HBM)
