PALEMBANG – Ribuan berkas arsip in aktif tidak bernilai guna dari berbagai Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) di lingkungan Pemprov Sumsel dimusnahkan, Senin (14/6/2021).
Pemusnahan yang terpusat di halaman kantor Dinas Kearsipan Provinsi Sumsel dan dibuka langsung oleh Wakil Gubernur Sumsel H Mawardi Yahya itu dilakukan dengan cara dibakar.
“Pemusnahan ini dilakukan setelah dilakukan penilaian jika arsip tersebut sudah kadaluarsa. Arsip yang dimusnahkan tersebut berasal dari OPD di lingkungan Pemprov Sumsel,” kata Mawardi.
Diketahui, sebanyak 1384 arsip dari 8 OPD yang dimusnahkan pada kegiatan tersebut. Rinciannya yakni Dinas Kearsipan Provinsi Sumsel sebanyak 96 berkas, Dinas Kehutanan 107 berkas, Dinas Perdagangan 75 berkas, Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Satu Pintu 84 berkas.
Lalu, Dinas Kesehatan 724 berkas, Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan 107 berkas, Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman 150 berkas, serta Badan Kepegawaian Daerah 41 berkas.
Berkas-berkas yang dimusnahkan tersebut merupakan arsip selama 20 tahun belakangan yang dianggap sudah tidak bernilai guna.
“Ini kerap kita sampaikan jika arsip ini memang merupakan hal penting. Sebab arsip menjadi bukti autentik dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan secara baik,” ujarnya.
Termasuk juga dalam pengelolaan keuangan. Dimana arsip berperan penting untuk meninjau kembali pengelolaan keuangan yang dilakukan OPD.
“Karena itu, jangan menunda mengarsipkan setiap kegiatan maupun pengelolaan keuangan yang dilakukan. Kita tidak bisa hanya mengandalkan ingatan. Jangan sampai karena penundaan pengarsipan tersebut, membuat kita lupa sehingga laporan menjadi fiktif dan justru mengakibatkan masalah hukum. Pengarsipan harus dilakukan sebaik-baiknya,” terangnya.
Dia pun meminta agar OPD di lingkungan Pemprov Sumsel menyiapkan tenaga khusus untuk melakukan pengarsipan.
“Soal arsip ini memang sepele namun penting. OPD harus ada tenaga yang ditunjuk untuk menjalankan tugas pengarsipan ini. Dinas Kearsipan juga harus aktif melakukan jemput bola untuk mengingatkan OPD-OPD di lingkungan Pemprov Sumsel ini untuk melakukan pengarsipan,” paparnya.
Untuk diketahui, dalam dua tahun kepemimpinannya, Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru dan Wakil Gubernur H Mawardi Yahya telah membawa Sumsel masuk dalam 10 besar nasional dalam peringkat nilai hasil pengawasan kearsipan instansi pemerintah tingkat daerah se-Indonesia serta peringkat dua se-Sumatera.
