Keterisian Rumah Sakit di Palembang Diatas 70 Persen

PALEMBANG – Keterisian tempat tidur atau Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) di rumah sakit Palembang saat ini telah berada di atas 70 persen. Hal ini seiring peningkatan pasien COVID-19.

Plt Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Palembang, dr Fauziah, mengatakan data dari Satgas terdapat 18 rumah sakit rujukan bagi pasien COVID-19 dengan kapasitas 1.075 tempat tidur.

“Dari jumlah itu 816 tempat tidur sudah terisi oleh pasien COVID-19. Artinya sudah di atas 70 persen,” katanya, Kamis (8/7/2021).

Dengan peningkatan ini maka rumah sakit juga diminta agar menyiapkan 30 persen dari total kapasitas tempat tidur, dan PPKM juga masuk di level dua.

Epidemiologi Universitas Sriwijaya, Iche Andriyani Liberty, mengatakan tingginya BOR rumah sakit Palembang dampak dari peningkatan pasien baru COVID-19 yang mencapai rata-rata 200 kasus per hari.

“Seperti kondisi di RSMH Palembang, dimana keterisian ruang ICU sudah mencapai 77 persen,” katanya.

Menurutnya, menambah jumlah BOR sebenarnya bukan merupakan perkara yang sulit. Namun, jika peningkatan kasus baru COVID-19 terus saja terjadi, bagaimana kesiapan dari tenaga kesehatan.

“Yang dikhawatirkan itu apakah tenaga kesehatannya siap. Takutnya, saat pasien datang harus mengantre untuk mendapatkan perawatan seperi di Pulau Jawa,” katanya
