PALEMBANG – Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) Palembang memutuskan kembali melaksanakan kegiatan belajar dan mengajar atau KBM tatap muka. Belajar tatap muka akan dimulai Juli 2021, dengan waktu belajar maksimal empat jam dan menerapkan protokol kesehatan (prokes).
“Dalam proses pelaksanaan sekolah tatap muka, ada aturan di antaranya jam pelajaran dimulai pukul 08.00 WIB sampai maksimal pukul 11.00 WIB,” ujar Kepala Disdik Palembang, Ahmad Zulinto, Selasa (8/6/2021).
Selain mengurangi waktu belajar menjadi lebih singkat, Disdik Palembang mengingatkan sekolah membatasi kapasitas siswa dalam satu ruang kelas, demi menekan penyebaran COVID-19.
“Satu lokal hanya akan diisi maksimal 15 anak. Tidak ada jam istirahat, sehingga orangtua sebaiknya menyiapkan bekal untuk anak dari rumah,” kata dia.
Zulinto menegaskan, peniadaan waktu istirahat dimaksudkan agar semua siswa tidak memiliki kesempatan berkerumun di luar jadwal belajar. Ia meminta instansi pendidikan agar tidak memfasilitasi tempat makan.
“Maksudnya kantin tidak akan dibuka, jadi silakan bekali anak. Sekolah juga harus memastikan siswa menggunakan alat pelindung diri, minimal masker atau face shield serta menyediakan tempat cuci tangan,” tegasnya.
Keputusan KBM tatap muka, lanjut Zulinto, dipengaruhi banyaknya desakan dari orangtua serta para guru yang menginginkan sekolah offline. Kendati demikian, ia menyebut sistem belajar langsung dibuka dengan pertimbangan perkembangan kasus COVID-19.
“Artinya ini sudah bisa dilakukan sekolah tatap muka, tapi kita tidak boleh lengah dalam disiplin prokes. Sudah banyak orangtua mendesak untuk sekolah tatap muka. Karenanya, segera 1-2 hari ini saya akan rapat dengan semua kepala sekolah terkait persiapan sekolah tatap muka,” jelas dia.
Zulinto melanjutkan, Disdik Palembang membuka saran dan masukan dari Satgas Penanganan COVID-19, Ombudsman, Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), dan organisasi perlindungan anak.
“Jika mereka semua menyetujui, maka otomatis Juli dipastikan mulai sekolah tatap muka. Jadwalnya akan disesuaikan dengan tahun ajaran baru 2021/2022,” timpalnya.
