Hal itu juga membuktikan, jika Herman Deru tidak membedakan pelayanan maupun pembangunan dalam wujud dan bentuk apapun untuk masyarakat Sumsel.
“Bantuan yang kita bagikan tergantung dari program masing-masing Kabupaten/kota, bantuan yang telah diberikan ini saya harap dapat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan produktifitas dan kualitas produksi agar lebih baik lagi kedepannya” tutur Herman Deru ketika menyerahkan bantuan tersebut yang dipusatkan di Kantor Camat Buay Madang Timur BK 5 Kabupaten OKU Timur, Minggu (19/9) pagi.
Dia berpesan kepada pimpinan daerah Kabupaten ataupun Kota di Sumsel untuk memberikan layanan yang maksimal untuk masyarakat.
“Pasti Pemprov akan membantu baik dalam hal pembangunan non fisik maupun perbaikan Infrastrukturnya.Harus ada yang di utamakan yaitu kesejahteraan masyarakat dan inilah pentingnya kita berkomunikasi,” ungkapnya.
Sementara Bupati Kabupaten Oku Timur H. Lanosin, S.T menyampaikan rasa terimakasihnya atas bantuan dan perhatian gubernur kepada masyarakat OKU Timur.
“Sesuai dengan visi dan misi, OKU Timur Maju dan Lebih Mulia. Mulia memiliki makna ketaqwaan yang harus dibina. Santunan kematian diberikan untuk yang non sejahtera, angkanya sama dengan tempo lalu,” katanya.
Turut mendampingi Gubernur, Ketua TP-PKK Sumsel Hj Febrita Lustia HD yang dikesempatan sama memberikan bantuan satu unit mobil operasional kepada TP-PKK setempat sebagai reward atas prestasi OKU Timur peringat 4 untuk produksi pangan nasional.
