PRABUMULIH – Wali Kota Prabumulih mengimbau pengendara angkutan umum maupun pribadi akan melewati jalan Jenderal Sudirman mencari jalur alternatif. Pasalnya dari 20 September hingga 31 Desember 2021 mendatang, Dishub dan Satlantas Polres Prabumulih akan menutup akses jalan kota lantaran ada pembangunan flyover.
“Penutupan total jalan disebabkan adanya pengerjaan pembangunan flyover kelurahan Patih Galung oleh Kementerian PUPR, tepatnya di dekat perlintasan kereta api,” ungkap Wali Kota Prabumulih, Ridho Yahya, Minggu (20/9/2021).
Ridho menuturkan Jalan Sudirman adalah akses dalam kota menghubungkan Prabumulih ke Kabupaten Muara Enim atau ke Kota Palembang. Selama ini akses tersebut menjadi jalan utama dilintasi kendaraan pribadi roda empat bahkan lebih karena berada di jalur utama kota.
“Kita inginnya pengerjaan cepat selesai, khawatirnya banyak laporan mobil-mobil besar masih melintas sehingga menghambat pengerjaan,” jelas dia.
Untuk mengantisipasi kemacetan kendaraan, Ridho mengatakan, pengendara diarahkan menggunakan jalur alternatif lainnya. Pengendara asal Muara Enim bisa melewati jalan Lingkar Timur Prabumulih atau ke Jalur Tugu Nanas Patih Galung. Sedangkan pengendara dari arah Palembang bisa masuk ke kiri di tugu air mancur cambai melalui jalan lingkar.
“Jadi kepada para pengendara tak perlu khawatir tidak bisa melintas, tetap bisa tapi lewat jalan lingkar. Kita imbau masyarakat luar kota baik kendaraan kecil maupun besar silahkan lewat jalan lingkar, nanti ada petunjuk arah dan petugas yang mengarahkan,” jelas dia.
Ridho berharap, masyarakat dari berbagai kota di Sumsel akan masuk ke Prabumulih dapat memaklumi langkah dilakukan Pemkot. Pihaknya berharap pembangunan tidak mendapat hambatan sehingga nantinya jalan utama Kota Prabumulih dapat kembali dibuka untuk umum.
“Kalau untuk truk besar memang tidak boleh melintas di dalam kota karena ada perda. Nanti akan kita pasang portal di beberapa titik di jalan jenderal sudirman sehingga tidak bisa melintas,” tutup dia.
